Before I joined this programme, I was at my lowest, nothing seemed to make sense. I felt lost, confused and honestly I’ve never felt so vulnerable. I really valued the activities, each one was a way for mindfulness and the emotions you are allowed to feel…finding ways to deal with them really helped me to gain my confidence back and find peace and happiness within myself and the world around me. Khairun offered me 1 to 1 sessions. I’d describe Khairun as someone you can instantly connect with. The visualisation exercise really changed my perspective and understanding the things I had to heal from.
I’m so grateful I was able to sign up for this programme. I finally found the confidence to step outside my comfort zone and start the career I’d always wanted to get into. I’m so happy in my new Job.
I might of lost myself completely but the programme helped me to find the best version of myself.

Before joining the course in 2022, I was stressed and depressed. I ignored my health and did not think about myself, just got on with looking after family and doing housework all the time. Even then no one cared about me. When I saw the leaflet for The Inspired Path, I felt excited, it sounded interesting. I told two friends and we all joined together. The course changed me a lot. I learnt about mental health and self-care and on each day we did different activities, and in this time I started feeling different about myself. I started caring about myself and feeling that I was important. I started going out. I started walking a lot and that makes me feel good. I still did my housework but I got a new routine and I started doing my housework at night so I can be free in the day. Now when the children are at school, it is my time!
I got a lot more confident and I feel stronger. After the course finished, I became a volunteer with Hope Inspired organisation. I am learning a lot and I love being a volunteer. I help in the coffee mornings and a few months ago I helped in two other Inspired Path courses. That made me feel very special because Khairun trusted me to help in the group. I tell my friends and neighbours about the course and the coffee morning and encourage them to join. The art activities we do and walks help us feel better and it is nice to have company and not feel alone. It is nice to be able to talk and listen to others. We feel there is sisterhood and we support each other. One of my friends was very depressed and did not leave the house but slowly slowly after doing Inspired Path she started getting out and sometimes comes to coffee mornings.
My confidence is growing and I also volunteer now in two other organisations in my neighbourhood. Volunteering makes me feel very special. I am learning a lot from Khairun and listen carefully when she talks. She is my mentor and a good role model for all of us. She is helping the women a lot. I am very happy to be part of Hope Inspired team.

The vision board experience was life changing in that it made me realise the things that bring me joy. The session helped me setting my goals for my future. This will be a major motivation when I am feeling stuck.
The life map session was another highlight in this workshop. It made me feel a sense of accomplishment. I realised that I have really come a long way. The most important thing I go away with is feeling worthy…that we are enough.

I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the remarkable course I participated in from May 10th to July 5th, 2023. I wanted to offer my feedback on this transformative experience.
From the outset, the Agreement of Trust's ten categories captured my attention, resonating deeply with my aspirations. "Being Heart-led" and "Owning Our Story" particularly stood out, providing profound insights that continue to shape my perspective.
The course content was expertly delivered, combining ease of understanding with impactful insights. The inclusion of interpreters in multiple languages showcased a commendable commitment to inclusivity, broadening the course's reach.
The course's conclusion was a testament to your organization's dedication to excellence, evident through flawless grammar and a consistently professional tone.
I extend my sincere gratitude for the invaluable growth and knowledge gained through this course. I eagerly anticipate the possibility of future engagement with Hope Inspired.

When I first met Khairun, she was delivering a session for ESOL students and talking to them about looking after themselves and where they had made vision boards. She was professional, approachable and very supportive to the students.
After that day she told me she’ll be delivering a coaching workshop and I was excited about joining it. At that point I was working over the amount of hours I should’ve been working and I was confused, frustrated and constantly tired. I attended the session which was all day. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxing, there was aromatherapy diffuser and refreshments and of course the lovely Khairun. During the session we all felt relaxed and confident to talk about what’s bothering us and I then talked about how I’m doing unpaid over hours then what I’m supposed to be working. We did different activities that really made us think about our life. The guided visualisation was a unique experience. We used vision boards to help us set and manifest our goals and create a visual representation of personal vision statement. After the session, it was a turning point for me. As I stood up for my rights at work and sticked to my hours. Only that one session with Khairun was what I needed in order to achieve work life balance. I felt happier and more confident in doing the role I was doing. Since that session, I now attend the coffee morning which is a lovely place for sisters.

What I found in Khairun that was special is her approach is very gentle and non judgmental, emotionally intelligent and empathetic. Her style is holistic and makes me feel comfortable and confident during the session.

I supported Khairun with the art element of The Inspiration Tree in early 2022 and came away each week feeling exhilarated. I learnt a lot about Muslim women from the past and joined in with the discussions about how they can inspire us today. Khairun created a very safe space for the women, many of whom may never have experienced such a space. The quality of that space allowed participants to open up and look at themselves and their lives and consider what they would like to change and develop for the future. There was lots of reflection, some sombre moments but lots of laughter too. They then applied this knowledge, wisdom and inspiration into a creative piece of art which they took home to look at and enjoy. The programme helped women open up their creative side, which is often ignored after childhood.
As someone who is not Muslim, I felt very welcomed into the group and enjoyed the warmth and banter. The lives of the historical women evoked lots of excellent conversations we all enjoyed. I shared information from my own experiences and we agreed that there were so many similarities in the experiences of women across diverse cultures. The course content is easily transferable to different cultures and faiths and would inspire all women and encourage growth of thought and confidence and self-esteem.
The course did me a lot of good and I left each session feeling calmer and supported, even though I was there to help Khairun with the creative side!
Angela – Arts Facilitator (The Inspiration Tree)
I was first introduced to this inspirational woman Khairun in 2021 when she co-delivered a programme to our women at Go-Woman! Alliance CIC. I later had the privilege to evaluate ‘The Inspired Path’ programme which was developed and delivered by Khairun herself.
Here, I was mesmerised by this very naturally gifted, passionate and compassionate woman who through this beautiful programme, took women on a wonderful journey of self-discovery and self-learning.
Khairun openly shares her personal journey of resilience, self-discovery and learning with a magical style that is not ‘teaching’ but through the different sessions seems to facilitate the unlocking of personal chains where women are able to bring to life their hopes, dreams and goals.
I personally, through attending several of the sessions and through one to one interviews with attendees, have been able to observe and witness not only self-growth, beautiful friendships and improved reported well-being but a glorious community of joy, happiness and a renewed sense of hope.
I would thoroughly recommend the ‘Inspired Path’ programme with all of my being. I have been honoured to have had the opportunity to have been introduced to this inspiring woman and of course this beautiful legacy ‘The Inspired Path’. I am in no doubt that this programme has the potential to appeal to all women from all walks of life. A truly beautiful programme that allows time and space to just be.
I am sure ‘The Inspired Path’ will facilitate self-discovery and self-learning for many women to come.
Thank you to Khairun and the women that shared their journeys and made my evaluation of ‘The Inspired Path’ so memorable.
Donna Barton - Go-Woman! Alliance CIC - September 2023
I wanted to provide some feedback as I have completed the Inspired Path project with Khairun.
I found the project organised and indeed inspirational. Khairun went above and beyond in delivering the programme.
The project came at a time in my life where I was going through a tough time at work. It made me stop and listen to myself and appreciate who I am due to the workshops by Khairun. It has given me skills that I can take away and use in my life.
So glad I did the programme and met some lovely sisters along the way.
Ruby Shahida - The Inspired Path
Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity to get together as a sisterhood. I have been enjoying coffee mornings along with courses and one day sessions. I have learnt new skills such as cyanotype painting, which I came across the first time. I personally love art, but I was not aware of myself as a natural artist. I love my paintings. Whenever I see them, I think about you. Without your effort, it wouldn't be possible.
Through your programmes and training, I have built up my confidence and can think of different ideas to help wider communities through our organization.
Thank you for your encouragement, trust in us, showing us to love oneself, and treating us as a family.
Samina - Filling My Cup
It's always a heartwarming experience to witness the dedication you bring to Hope Inspired. Your efforts in going above and beyond to support individuals in need are both admirable and transformative. The coffee mornings have become more than just a gathering; they are a sanctuary where vulnerable adults and parents find understanding, support, and the strength to face their daily challenges. Your personal commitment to providing this amazing support shines as a model of compassion and community care.

I first met Khairun when I was taking part in another group. She came to do a few sessions about our wellbeing. I instantly took a liking to Khairun’s delivery style and felt I got loads out of just that first session where we talked about goals and changes.
Khairun then did another session where we made our vision boards. My first reaction was I’m not good at being creative but I quickly changed my mind once I started looking through the magazines and found pictures and quotes I related too. I made my vision board and was very proud of it showing everyone and telling them what it all represented before proudly hanging it in my bedroom. My board was all about focusing on what I wanted to do with my life. I decided that in 5 years time I would be in my own home that would be very peaceful, relaxing and tidy. Nothing like the busy family home I was in!!! I told my grown up children my plans of moving on in life. As time went by I kept thinking of my goals and what I wanted to achieve to the point I changed my mind and gave myself a year to move on to find my “happy home” I am now in the process of achieving that dream and couldn’t be happier to be leaving the built up city life to a wonderful little house in a beautiful village.
All of this would not have been possible if I hadn’t made the vision board to inspire me and think of my goals. Thank you so much Khairun.
I was so inspired by my change in my vision and goals that I encouraged my daughter to enrol on Khairun’s inspired pathway course. She needed to focus on her own wellbeing and get some help and support to get back on track after being off sick from work. Well 1 year later I have my “old daughter” back, she’s happy and confident again and made so many positive changes in her life. I am so proud of her and the things she has achieved.
Khairun has changed both of our life’s for the better and for that I will be forever grateful.
Yvonne - The Inspired Path
I really enjoy this hope inspired women’s group, it is very inspirational for me. It is extremely therapeutic for me and helps me to reflect on my past, my future and my present life experiences. I really would like these sessions to be held at least once or twice a month for a lifetime (smile!) as it is very encouraging to be able to speak our “truths” in a positive manner, even while helping us to cope with life in general and give us time to share our experiences as women with confidentiality.
Khairun is an excellent presenter for our group.
Mal - The Inspired Path
Khairun, it was a pleasure working with Hope Inspired as a partner to support our service-users, women predominantly from marginalised communities. You delivered a well-tailored programme, with integrity and sensitivity, which enabled the women to feel safe to explore their well-being and develop their own path to personal and professional development.
Yasmin Akhtar - Go-Woman! Alliance CIC
When I was introduced to the coffee mornings, I was reluctant to attend due to my confidence levels, but I was motivated to change this by a close friend who went to Filling my cup. As I attended every week, I could see and feel my confidence being flourished every time I attended.
The coffee mornings helped me and my mental health, they encouraged me to be motivated, and to do things beyond my boundaries. Not only this but I met a lot of friendly people who were in similar situations. It is somewhere we can sit, share our emotions, and discuss in the group how we can overcome challenges. I particularly enjoy the activities that are arranged which I look forward to and participate in.
I thoroughly enjoy attending the sessions and look forward to them. I want to thank Khairun for organising these and taking the time and effort to support us.
